For the corresponding verb cf. the closing greeting of a letter PSI IV. 286 .88 (iii/iv A.D.) ἐρρῶσθαί σε εὔχομ (αι ) εὐκοποῦντα διὰ ὅλου βίου . The editor states that he has not found the formula elsewhere, and compares the Homeric ῥεῖα ζώοντες .
