The adj. is found in a medical prescription of ii/iii A.D., P Oxy II. 234 .39 λιβ ]ανωτὸν οἴνῳ [διεὶ ]ς ἡδίστῳ κλύζε [τὸ ο ]ὖς , dilute frankincense with very sweet wine and syringe the ear.
