In P Ryl II. 174 .20 (A.D. 112) in connexion with the repayment of a loan provision is made that certain parties will not proceed against others π ]ερὶ ἄλλου μηδενὸς ἁπλῶς πράγματος μηδὲ ὀφειλήματος μηδὲ [μηδενὸ ]ς τῷ καθόλου ἐνγράπτου μηδὲ ἀγράφου ἀπὸ τῶν ἔμπροσθεν χρόνω (ν ) [μέχρι ] τῆς ἐνεστώσης ἡμέρας τρόπῳ μηδενί , on any matter at all or debt or count of any kind whatsoever, written or unwritten, in the past down to the present day, in any manner (Edd.).
