καθότι. For this word, which is peculiar to Luke in the NT, we may cite P Hib I. 66? (B.c. 228) καθότι ὑμῖν καὶ ᾿ΑσκληπιάSys γέγραφεν, P Amh 11. 49% (B.C. 108) καθότι πρόκειται, P Tebt II. 386% (B.c. 12) καθότι προγέγραπται, εἴς. The meaning ‘‘as,” ‘‘just as,”’ is seen in P Eleph 248 (iii/B.c.) καθότι ἂν ἡμῖν ἐπιδείξωσιν of βασιλικοὶ γραμματεῖς, P Ryl II. 154?
