κατακληροδοτέω [page 327] For this rare verb, which is found in the TR of Act_13:19 and ter in the LXX (always with the variant κατακληρονομέω ), Herwerden Lex. s.v. cites Theophyl. Sim. Hist. vi. 7. 12 τῷ στρατηγῷ τῇ πόλει . . . κατακληροδοτοῦντι ἀριστείας καὶ τρόπαια a passage hitherto unnoticed by the lexicons.
