κατενώπιον, like κατέναντι, is to be removed from the category of Hebraistic constructions : see further s.v. ἐνώπιον. With its usage in Eph 14, Col 178, Jude ** (cf. 2 Cor 217 A, 1219 A) we may compare the sixth century Christian amulet BGU III. 954° (= Selections, p. 133) κλίνω τὴν κεφαλήν [po]v κα -τ--ενώπιόν σου.
