With this compound, which is rare outside Biblical Greek (cf. Anz Subsidia , p. 366), we may compare λιθοκοπέω (not found in LS 8 ), for which Mayser ( Gr. p. 461) cites P Vat F .20 (Mai V. 356) (B.C. 157), ib. E .25 (Mai V. 354), although in both places Mai reads λιθοκοπετέω .
