In an account of cures at the Asclepieium at Epidaurus, Sy// 802%°*: (iii/B.c.), we find the following—Evurmos λόγχαν ἔτη ἐφόρησε ἕξ ἐν Tar γνάθωι" ἐγκοιτασθέντος δ᾽ (α)ὐτοῦ ἐξελὼν τὰν λ[όϊγχαν ὃ θεὸς εἰς τὰς χῆράς οἱ ἔδωκε. ἁμέρας δὲ γενομένας ὑγιὴς ἐξῆρπε, τὰν λόγχαν ἐν ταῖς χερσὶν ἔχων : cf. 7. 803% (iii/B.c.)
