For this verb, which in the NT is confined to Act_8:9 , we may cite the expanded second table of the Decalogue in Didache ii. 2 οὐ μαγεύσεις , οὐ φαρμακεύσεις , thou shalt not practise magic, thou shalt not practise sorcery.
