In Proleg. p. 48 Moulton suggests that Νύμφαν , which apparently should be read as a woman s name in Col_4:15 , is not due to a Doric Νύμφαν , but by a reverse analogy process the gen. Νύμφης produced the short nom. Νύμφᾰ , like δόξα , δόξης . He compares Εἰρῆνα in a Christian inscr. C. and B. ii. p. 497 n. .5 .
