προσάγω is used in the general sense of “ bring” in such passages as PSI IV. 43578 (B.c. 258-7) ὃς ἐνεχείρησεν οἰκοδομεῖν Σαραπιεῖον . . Kal προσαγηγόχει (for form, see Mayser Gr. p- 338) λίθους, P Magd 274 (B.c. 218) πλίνθον προσ[ζά]γων Kal θεμέλιον σκάπτων. From this it is an easy step to the meaning “ collect,” Parr VI.
