Saron], a level region extending from Cwsarea of Palestine (Strato’s Tower) as far as Joppa [about 30 miles]; it abounded in pasturage and was famous for its fertility (Is. xxxiii. 9; Ixv. 10; 1 Chr. xxvii. 29): Acts ix. 35.
