συμφώνησις is nothing the matter with us and we are at harmony with each other’’ (Edd.), 74. I. 133% (a.D. 550) συμφωνῖ ἡμῖν πάντα τὰ ἐγεγραμμέ(να) ὡς πρόκιται, ‘‘ we agree to all that is herein contained, as it is above νυυϊζέθη ᾿᾿ (Edd.), and «δ 540 (= %972)8* (B.c. 175-2) συμφωνοῦντας πρὸς ἀλλήλους δοκίμως. The verb is used with reference to φγίζο, as in Mt 20%, in such passages as P Oxy XIV. 167217 (A.D. 37-41) ὁ φίλος συντυχὼν ἔλεγεν συμ[πε]φωνηκέναι τοῖς ἐκ τῆς κώ[μ]ης αὐτοῦ μετὰ χάριτος . . . ἐκ (δραχμῶν) AB, “ our friend said that he had agreed with the people of his village thankfully at the rate of 32 drachmae”’ (Edd.), 2d. [V. 72837 (A.D. 142) ἔσχον παρὰ σοῦ τὰς συνπεφωνημένας ὑπὲρ τιμῆς χόρτου ἀργυρί[ο]υ δραχμὰς διακοσίας ἑβδομήκοντα [ἕξ, “1 have received from you the 276 drachmae which were agreed upon for the price of the hay’’ (Edd.), and BGU II. 416° (A.D. 150) ἀπέχω τὴν συνπεπωνημένη (/. συνπεφωνημένην) τιμήν, and Sy// 241 (= *535)® (B.C. 217-6) τὰ εἴκοσι τάλαντα τὰ συνφωνηθέντα ὑπὲρ τῶν αἰχμαλώτων.
