συναρπάζω [page 603] συναρπάζω , as a perfective of ἁρπάζω , denotes seize and keep a firm bold of in Luk_8:29 (see Proleg . p. 113) : cf. PSI IV. 353 .12 (B.C. 254 3) συναρπά [ζε ]ι̣ τὸν φυλακίτην , and P Masp III. 67295 .5 (Byz.) συναρπάζειν τὰ ἰάσ̣[ιμα τῶν ἀδεκ ]α̣στων . For the meaning seize and carry away, as in Act_27:15 , see P Ryl II. 119 .28 (A.D. 54 67) κατὰ πᾶν οὖν συνηρπασμένοι ὑπὸ τούτου , we have therefore been robbed on every side by this man (Edd.).
