28.28 · Know · Well Known, Clearly Shown, Revealed
well known, widely known pertaining to being widely and well known In some languages it may be necessary in translating MRK 6:14 to reverse certain roles, for example, ‘people everywhere came to know about Jesus.’

28.58 · Know · Able To Be Known
clearly known, easily known, evident, plain, clear pertaining to being clearly and easily able to be known For some of the problems involved in the rendering of ROM 1:19, see the discussion under γνωστός[e] (28.57).
24.20 · Sensory Events and States · See
clear, evident, clearly (derivative of the stem φαν- ‘to appear,’ 24.18, 24.19) pertaining to that which appears clear or evident In view of the contrast which exists in ROM 2:28 between ἐν τῷ φανερῷ and ἐν τῷ κρυπτῷ, it is, of course, possible to translate ἐν τῷ φανερῷ as ‘that which is external’ and ἐν τῷ κρυπτῷ as ‘that which is internal,’ but it would seem better to preserve the contrast as ‘that which can be seen’ and ‘that which cannot be seen.’ See 24.29.
