Every major theme preached in the SermonIndex library, gathered into eight families — the bigger the circle, the more sermons; the lines show which themes preachers hold together. Open a family, follow one topic out to everything it is preached with, and meet the men most often heard on it.

Built from the sermon library itself: circle size is the number of sermons filed under a topic, a line is drawn where two topics keep turning up in the same sermons, and the faces are the preachers whose sermons fill them. The chart shows the themes with fifteen sermons or more — the full list of every topic, including the smaller ones, is on the topics index, and you can trace the men and movements behind this preaching on the Timeline of Church History.
