Choice of Life

6 sermons

The biblical concept of "Choice of Life" refers to the idea that individuals have the ability to choose between a path of righteousness and one of wickedness, with the former leading to eternal life and the latter to spiritual death. As stated in Deuteronomy 30:19, God sets before humanity the choice between life and death, blessing and curse, and encourages them to choose life. This choice is also echoed in Psalms 23:1, where the psalmist declares that the Lord is their shepherd, guiding them along the path of righteousness, and in Proverbs 2:12, which warns against the path of the wicked, highlighting the importance of choosing wisdom and righteousness. By choosing to follow God's commandments and live a life of faith, individuals can experience the fullness of life that God intends for them, as promised in Jeremiah 29:11.
