This idea is rooted in the understanding that as Christians, we are not alone in our endeavors, but rather, we work alongside God, who empowers and guides us, as stated in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all this through him who gives me strength." Through this co-laboring, believers participate in God's redemptive work, as expressed in 2 Corinthians 6:1, where it is encouraged to "not receive God's grace in vain," but to work together with Him to bring about spiritual transformation and growth.
