The Communion of Saints is a biblical concept that refers to the spiritual unity and fellowship among all believers, both living and deceased, who are united in their faith in Jesus Christ. As expressed in Hebrews 12:1, believers are surrounded by a "great cloud of witnesses" who have gone before them, and in Romans 8:28, it is written that all things work together for the good of those who love God. This communion is rooted in the shared experience of salvation and the bond of love that exists among all members of the body of Christ, as described in 1 Corinthians 12:27, where believers are referred to as the "body of Christ" with each member being interconnected. Through this communion, Christians are able to draw strength and encouragement from one another, both in this life and in the life to come.
