Mission Work

3 sermons

Mission work is a fundamental aspect of the Christian faith, rooted in the biblical mandate to spread the Gospel to all nations, as seen in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). The Bible emphasizes the importance of sharing the message of salvation with others, as expressed in Romans 10:14-15, where the apostle Paul writes that faith comes from hearing the message of Christ, and that messengers are needed to proclaim this message. The Christian faith is inherently missionary, with Jesus commanding his disciples to go and make disciples of all nations, teaching them to obey everything he had commanded (Matthew 28:19-20), and the apostle Paul affirming that he was sent to preach the Gospel to the Gentiles (Galatians 1:16). Through mission work, Christians fulfill their calling to be ambassadors for Christ, proclaiming the message of redemption and reconciliation to a world in need (2 Corinthians 5:20).
