Personal Ministry

3 sermons

Personal ministry, as understood in the biblical context, refers to the unique calling and gifting of individual believers to serve and minister to others in the body of Christ. According to Ephesians 4:11-12, Jesus gave gifts to the church, including apostles, prophets, and evangelists, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, highlighting the importance of personal ministry in the Christian faith. As seen in Matthew 25:31-46, Jesus teaches that serving others is a fundamental aspect of following Him, and in 1 Peter 4:10, believers are exhorted to use their gifts to serve one another, demonstrating that personal ministry is an essential expression of Christian faith and discipleship. Through personal ministry, believers can fulfill their divine purpose, as stated in Romans 12:6-8, and bring glory to God by serving others in love and humility.
