Risen Christ

The resurrection of Christ stands as the cornerstone of Christian faith, affirming the victory over sin and death as proclaimed in 1 Corinthians 15:55-57, where Paul exclaims, 'O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?' This pivotal event not only demonstrates God's power but also offers believers the promise of eternal life, as illustrated in John 11:25-26, where Jesus declares, 'I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live.' The risen Christ is central to the believer's identity, as seen in Romans 6:4, which teaches that through baptism into His death, we are raised to walk in newness of life. Furthermore, the resurrection assures us of our future hope, as articulated in 1 Peter 1:3, which speaks of a 'living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.'
