Second Advent

10 sermons

The Second Advent, also known as the Second Coming, refers to the anticipated return of Jesus Christ to earth, as foretold in the Bible. This event is a cornerstone of Christian faith, with scriptures such as Matthew 24:30 and 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 describing Jesus' triumphant return, when He will gather His faithful followers to Himself. According to Revelation 20:6, believers will reign with Christ for a thousand years, following His victory over evil, and as stated in Titus 2:13, Christians are to eagerly await this blessed hope, the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. The Second Advent is a source of comfort, hope, and motivation for Christians, encouraging them to live faithfully and prepare for the Lord's return.
