Social Media

1 sermons

In an age where social media permeates daily life, Christians are called to navigate these platforms with wisdom and grace. The Apostle Paul reminds us in Ephesians 4:29 to let no corrupting talk come out of our mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. This principle extends to our online interactions, urging us to represent Christ authentically in every post, comment, and message. As we engage with others, we are challenged to reflect the love of Christ, as stated in John 13:34-35, where Jesus commands us to love one another, showing the world that we are His disciples. Furthermore, Proverbs 18:21 teaches us that death and life are in the power of the tongue, a truth that resonates deeply in the digital realm where words can spread rapidly and impact lives profoundly. Therefore, believers must approach social media with a heart of humility and a desire to edify others, always remembering the call to be salt and light in the world (Matthew 5:13-16). In doing so, we can use these platforms not only for personal expression but as tools for evangelism and encouragement, embodying the truth of Philippians 4:8, which urges us to think on things that are true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and commendable.
