True Wealth in God

10 sermons

The concept of true wealth in God is a central theme in the Bible, emphasizing that a Christian's true riches lie in their relationship with God, rather than in material possessions or earthly wealth. As stated in Matthew 6:19-21, believers are encouraged to store up treasures in heaven, where they will not perish, rather than accumulating wealth on earth. In 1 Timothy 6:17-19, the apostle Paul warns against putting hope in wealth, instead instructing believers to trust in God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy, and to do good, to be rich in good works. Ultimately, as Psalms 37:3-4 reminds us, true wealth is found in trusting and delighting in the Lord, who will give us the desires of our heart and provide for our needs.
