The Bible does not specifically mention a nation called America, but it provides principles for living as a citizen of any country. As believers, we are called to live as free people, yet not using our freedom as a cover-up for evil, as instructed in 1 Peter. The prophetical writings in 2 Timothy warn of difficult times in the last days, while Psalms and Proverbs offer wisdom on the importance of righteousness in a nation. As Christians, our true citizenship is in heaven, as Philippians reminds us, and we are to live according to God's standards, not earthly ones.

Live in freedom, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as servants of God.
But understand this: In the last days terrible times will come. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, without love of good, traitorous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. Turn away from such as these!
But our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,
Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people He has chosen as His inheritance!
Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world; if it were, My servants would fight to prevent My arrest by the Jews. But now My kingdom is not of this realm.”
and to aspire to live quietly, to attend to your own matters, and to work with your own hands, as we instructed you. Then you will behave properly toward outsiders, without being dependent on anyone. After that, we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord.
