6 Bible Verses on Being Betrayed

6 verses

In times of trial and persecution, believers may face betrayal by others, even by those closest to them. According to Luke 21:16, Jesus warned His disciples that they would be betrayed by family members and friends. The Bible teaches that such experiences can be opportunities for growth and refinement, as James 1:12 notes that those who endure trials will receive a crown of life. Furthermore, Galatians 5:19-21 cautions against the destructive nature of selfish desires that can lead to betrayal, while Matthew 10:28 reminds us to fear God rather than those who can harm us physically.
