16 Bible Verses on Come As You Are

16 verses

In God's invitation to salvation, all people are welcomed to come to Him without pretension or requirement for prior purification. Jesus extends this invitation in Matthew 11:28, promising rest to the weary, and it is echoed in Revelation 22:17, where the Spirit and the bride together call out to anyone who is thirsty. The prophets and apostles reiterate this message, as seen in Isaiah 1:18, where God invites sinners to reason together with Him, and in James 4:8, where believers are encouraged to draw near to God. John 6:37 also assures that those who come to Jesus will not be turned away.
