Thus says the LORD your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you for your benefit, who directs you in the way you should go. If only you had paid attention to My commandments, your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like waves of the sea.
And whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear this command behind you: “This is the way. Walk in it.”
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
Blessed is the man You discipline, O LORD, and teach from Your law, to grant him relief from days of trouble, until a pit is dug for the wicked. For the LORD will not forsake His people; He will never abandon His heritage.
