Jesus invites the weary to come to Him, promising rest and refreshment in Matthew 11:28-29. The Psalms, such as Psalms 23, remind us that even in desolate valleys, God's presence and provision can sustain us. However, the Bible also warns against the dangers of pursuing fleeting pleasures, as seen in Job 15:31-32 and Proverbs 14:12, emphasizing the need to seek true fulfillment in a relationship with God, rather than temporary escapes, as Jesus cautions in Luke 11:24.

Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

But God proves His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
