13 Bible Verses on Finding a Husband

13 verses

In the biblical account of creation, God recognizes that it is not good for man to be alone, and so He creates a companion for Adam, establishing the institution of marriage. The wisdom literature, such as Proverbs and Ecclesiastes, offers guidance on the benefits of a good marriage, with Proverbs noting that "he who finds a wife finds a good thing," and Ecclesiastes highlighting the value of having a partner to support and care for one another. Isaiah and the Psalms encourage trust in God's providence and timing, with Psalms urging patience and waiting on the Lord. Ultimately, the Bible teaches that a successful marriage is built on a foundation of faith, mutual support, and trust in God's sovereignty.
