13 Bible Verses on Forgive

13 verses

Throughout Scripture, forgiveness is emphasized as a fundamental aspect of the Christian life. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus teaches that our forgiveness of others is linked to God's forgiveness of us, as seen in Matthew 6:14-15. The apostle Paul instructs believers to forgive one another, just as God has forgiven them, in Ephesians 4:31-32. Additionally, 1 John 1:9 promises that if we confess our sins, God will forgive us and purify us from all unrighteousness, while Mark 11:25 encourages believers to forgive others when they pray.
