In the resurrection, believers will receive new, glorified bodies, transformed to be like Jesus' own resurrected body. According to Philippians, God will transform our lowly bodies to be like Christ's glorious body, and 1 Corinthians describes the dramatic change from a perishable, earthly body to an imperishable, heavenly one. The Apostle Paul teaches that our current bodies are sowings of weakness and dishonor, but will be raised in power and glory. As 1 John promises, when Jesus appears, we will be like Him, seeing Him as He is, and our glorified bodies will reflect His radiant glory.
