In the midst of life's challenges, believers can experience a profound sense of calm and tranquility that comes from God. Jesus promised His disciples that He would give them peace, a peace that the world cannot give, as recorded in John 14:27 and reiterated in John 16:33. The prophet Isaiah wrote that God would keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, trusting in Him, as seen in Isaiah 26:3. This peace is a gift that accompanies faith and is a hallmark of the Christian life, as Paul prayed for the Thessalonians in 2 Thessalonians 3:16 and instructed the Colossians to let it rule in their hearts in Colossians 3:15.

Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled; do not be afraid.
I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take courage; I have overcome the world!”
Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, for to this you were called as members of one body. And be thankful.
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Pursue peace with everyone, as well as holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.
Abundant peace belongs to those who love Your instruction; nothing can make them stumble.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
