6 Bible Verses on Our Souls

6 verses

The Bible teaches that each person has a soul, which is the essence of their being, created by God. In Genesis, it is written that God breathed life into Adam, giving him a living soul. The soul is also described as something that can be lost or saved, as Jesus warns in Matthew, and its fate is determined by the choices made during life, as emphasized in Ezekiel. Ultimately, the soul returns to God after physical death, as stated in Ecclesiastes, and those who receive Jesus Christ are given new life, as seen in the conversion of the believers in Acts.
