21 Bible Verses on Praying to Saints

21 verses

In Scripture, Jesus is revealed as the sole mediator between God and humanity, emphasizing that prayer should be directed to Him. According to 1 Timothy 2:5 and John 14:6, Jesus is the one who intercedes on our behalf, and we are encouraged to pray in His name. The Bible warns against idolatry, as seen in Leviticus 26:1, and cautions believers to test every spirit, as 1 John 4:1 instructs, to ensure that our prayers are aligned with God's will. Revelation 5:8 portrays the saints in heaven offering prayers to God, but this does not imply that we should pray to them.
