8 Bible Verses on Racism and Slavery

8 verses

The Bible teaches that all people are created equal in God's sight, regardless of their background or circumstances. In Galatians, it is written that there is no distinction between different groups of people in Christ, emphasizing unity and equality. The laws given in Exodus and Deuteronomy condemn the abduction and sale of people, highlighting God's concern for the oppressed. Additionally, Jesus' interactions, as recorded in John, demonstrate a commitment to judging individuals based on their character rather than their appearance or social status, promoting a message of love and acceptance.

Treat everyone with high regard: Love the brotherhood of believers, fear God, honor the king. Servants, submit yourselves to your masters with all respect, not only to those who are good and gentle, but even to those who are unreasonable.
