The Bible consistently teaches that God's design for human intimacy is to be expressed within the context of marriage between one man and one woman. Scripture warns against the dangers of sexual immorality, urging believers to flee from it, as seen in 1 Corinthians 6:18. The letters to the Thessalonians and Ephesians, such as 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 and Ephesians 5:3, emphasize the importance of purity and self-control in this area. Jesus' teachings in Matthew 5:28 also highlight the seriousness of lust and the need for a pure heart, while Hebrews 13:4 honors marriage as a sacred institution, deserving of respect and commitment.

Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a man can commit is outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body.
Marriage should be honored by all and the marriage bed kept undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.
For it is God’s will that you should be holy: You must abstain from sexual immorality; each of you must know how to control his own body in holiness and honor, not in lustful passion like the Gentiles who do not know God;
But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
But among you, as is proper among the saints, there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed.
No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide an escape, so that you can stand up under it.
But because there is so much sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife, and each woman her own husband.
Put to death, therefore, the components of your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires, and greed, which is idolatry.
For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure, or greedy person (that is, an idolater), has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who submit to or perform homosexual acts, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor verbal abusers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.
For it is God’s will that you should be holy: You must abstain from sexual immorality;
Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who submit to or perform homosexual acts,
