15 Bible Verses on Simplicity

15 verses

In following God's will, believers are called to live with simplicity, unencumbered by worldly desires. According to 2 Corinthians, this simplicity is rooted in sincerity and godly wisdom. Jesus teaches in Matthew 6:21 and 6:33 that one's heart and priorities should be focused on heavenly treasures, rather than earthly riches, and Luke 16:13 warns against serving two masters, highlighting the need for undivided loyalty. The Psalms, such as Psalms 116:6, express trust in God's care and provision, freeing believers to live simply and trustingly.
