Context — The Prophecy of Azariah
7But as for you, be strong; do not be discouraged, for your work will be rewarded.”
8When Asa heard these words and the prophecy of Azariah son of Oded the prophet, he took courage and removed the detestable idols from the whole land of Judah and Benjamin and from the cities he had captured in the hill country of Ephraim. He then restored the altar of the LORD that was in front of the portico of the LORD’s temple. 9And he assembled all Judah and Benjamin, along with those from the tribes of Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon who had settled among them, for great numbers had come over to him from Israel when they saw that the LORD his God was with him.Cross References

2 Chronicles 15:7 Summary
[This verse reminds us to trust in God's power and promises, even when things seem tough, because He is our strength and will reward our efforts. As it says in 2 Chronicles 15:7, 'be strong; do not be discouraged, for your work will be rewarded.' This means we can have hope and confidence, just like it says in Jeremiah 29:11, that God has good plans for us. By trusting in Him and persevering, we can receive the rewards He has in store for us, as promised in Revelation 22:12.]
