Ezekiel 14:3 Summary
[This verse, Ezekiel 14:3, teaches us that when we allow idols to take over our hearts, we create stumbling blocks that hinder our relationship with God. Having idols in our hearts means that we have allowed something or someone to take God's place, which is a form of idolatry, as seen in Exodus 20:3-5. To have a pure heart, we must surrender our idols and priorities to God, and seek to follow Him wholeheartedly, as described in Matthew 22:37-38 and Luke 9:23. By doing so, we can cultivate a deeper relationship with God and avoid the consequences of idolatry.]
