On the day of the New Moon he shall offer a young, unblemished bull, six lambs, and a ram without blemish. He is to provide a grain offering of an ephah with the bull, an ephah with the ram, and as much as he is able with the lambs, along with a hin of oil per ephah.

This is a burnt offering, a pleasing aroma, an offering made by fire to the LORD. Their drink offerings shall be half a hin of wine with each bull, a third of a hin with the ram, and a quarter hin with each lamb. This is the monthly burnt offering to be made at each new moon throughout the year. In addition to the regular burnt offering with its drink offering, one male goat is to be presented to the LORD as a sin offering.

Ezekiel 45:24 Summary

In Ezekiel 45:24, the prince is instructed to provide a grain offering to God, along with olive oil, as an act of worship and thanksgiving. This offering represents the firstfruits of our labor and increase, given to God in recognition of His provision and blessings (Deuteronomy 26:1-11). Just as the prince provides a specific amount of grain and oil, we can offer our lives and resources to God in a spirit of worship and obedience (Romans 12:1-2). By doing so, we demonstrate our gratitude and reverence for God, and acknowledge His sovereignty over all aspects of our lives.
