17At that time they will call Jerusalem The Throne of the LORD, and all the nations will be gathered in Jerusalem to honor the name of the LORD. They will no longer follow the stubbornness of their evil hearts. 18In those days the house of Judah will walk with the house of Israel, and they will come together from the land of the north to the land that I gave to your fathers as an inheritance.Cross References

Jeremiah 3:16 Summary
[Jeremiah 3:16 is a promise from God that one day, His people will not need the ark of the covenant as a symbol of His presence, because He will be with them in a new and living way. This is similar to what Jesus promised in John 14:16-17, that He would send the Holy Spirit to be with us always. As we look to the future, we can be excited to experience God's presence in new and deeper ways, just like the people in Jeremiah 3:16. We can also learn from the shepherds in Jeremiah 3:15, who will feed God's people with knowledge and understanding of His word.]
