Jeremiah 51:48 Summary
This verse means that God is going to bring judgment on the city of Babylon because of its wickedness, and all of creation will rejoice when this happens. This is because God is a just and righteous God who hates evil and loves what is good, as we see in Psalm 97:10. When God brings judgment, it's not because He is cruel, but because He is holy and wants to protect His people, as seen in Jeremiah 31:3. This reminds us to trust in God's sovereignty and timing, even when things seem uncertain, and to look forward to the day when God will bring justice to all people (Romans 2:11).
