MAN AND JESUS The questions man asks Jesus are often based on the fact that He is seen as a teacher who represents God. Those who believe that He is who He says He is, want to know more about Kingdom matters and those who doubt His words or reject them outright want to trip Him up and poke holes in His divinity. We understand that human nature (under the influence of sin) seek either to trap Jesus into violating valued rules of religion or to genuinely seek repentance by gaining a deeper understanding of God. In each of the questions below, please specify who the question is speaking for (God / Satan/ self/ Others.) and ask why.

1.    But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? (Matthew 3:14)

2.Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? (Matthew 7:22) 3.And in thy name have cast out devils? (Matthew 7:22) 4.And in thy name done many wonderful works? (Matthew 7:22)
