04- Man And God

18 min read · Chapter 5 of 20

MAN AND GOD The questions man asks God show us both our ignorance about divinity on one hand, and for those who believe, our humility towards God. Much of what man asks God centers on one or more of the following areas provision (taking care of our needs), wonder (taking delight in how wonderful God and His creation are), protection (the need for safety especially in times of fear) and vindication for wrongs done to us (expecting God to ‘stand up’ for us). Most of us ask God for things solely for our benefit; only a few of us who are more mature ask things for the manifestation of God’s glory. In each of the questions below, please specify who the question is speaking for (God / Satan/ self/ Others.) and ask why.
