Bits and Pieces
It is not by change of circumstances that we can be
made happy, but by submission to the will of God.
Much self-judgment makes a man slow to judge others,
and the vent gentleness of such a one gives a
keen edge to his rebukes.
One special mark of "a sound mind" is readiness to
take counsel of God.
One of the great smarts of understanding Scripture is
taking out of it what God puts into it, and not to be
thinking what it means.
