8. “According To” In Ephesians 1

1. Predestination. “According to the good pleasure of His will,” He hath predestinated us to the place of children (Ephesians 6:5).

2. Benediction. “According to the riches of His grace,” He has blessed us in Christ (Ephesians 6:7).

3. Revelation. “According to His good pleasure,” He hath made known to us the secret of His will (Ephesians 6:9-10).

4. Inheritance. “According to the purpose” of His counsel, He hath given us an inheritance in Christ (Ephesians 6:11).

5. Power. “According to the working of His mighty power,” He energises us for life and labour (Ephesians 6:19).
