25. 2 John 1:9 - "Whosoever" Can Choose To Transgress.

"Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He hath abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son."

Here, again, we have projected to us the right of man to transgress "and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ."  A person has the right to abide or abide not in the doctrine of Christ--this is that person's free will.  God has given man a free will to accept or reject Him.  The "whosoever" is a person's right and free will to accept or reject Christ.
