Confessions of faith Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
(Hebrews 11:1) And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
(1 John 3:23 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
(John 14:1) And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
(Romans 4:21) And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
(Romans 4:22) For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
(Romans 12:3) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
(Ephesians 2:8) But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
(Hebrews 12:2) But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
(John 20:31) And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
(2 Timothy 3:15) So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
(Romans 10:17) And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
(Acts 13:39) But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
Romans 3:22) Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
(Romans 3:28) Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
(Galatians 2:16) To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
(Galatians 2:20) That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
(John 3:15) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
(John 3:16) Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
(1 Peter 1:5) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
(John 1:12) For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
(Galatians 3:26) By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
(Romans 5:2) In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.
(Ephesians 3:12) But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
(Galatians 3:22) In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, (Ephesians 1:13) But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
(Romans 4:16) For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
(Romans 4:3) For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
(Romans 10:4) Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
(Romans 3:27) For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
(Galatians 5:6) That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
(1 Peter 1:7) Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
(2 Corinthians 4:13) Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.
(2 Corinthians 1:24) (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) (2 Corinthians 5:7)
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
(Hebrews 11:3) For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
(1 John 5:4) Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
(1 John 5:5) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
(1 Peter 5:8) Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
(1 Peter 5:9) Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
(Ephesians 6:16) He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
(Romans 4:20) Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
(Hebrews 10:22) And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
(Mark 11:22) For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
(Mark 11:24) Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
(Ephesians 6:14) And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Ephesians 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, with which you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
(Ephesians 6:18) But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
